Q. How long does it take for a website to be completed?
A. The timescale of a project is usually dictated by the client. If you have a deadline we will endeavour to meet it for you.
Q. I would like you to design my site, what do I need to do now? What is the process?
A. If you would like to use our services all you need to do is inform us of the domain name you would like to use and send us a brief idea of your requirements. We will then purchase the domain in your name, create the right hosting package for your project and then based on your guidance, design an initial web page for you.
This is then refined in consultation with the client until a satisfactory design has been reached. You will then need to forward content, text and images, so that we can build the website for you. If you do not have these please ask and we will help you.
Q. Do I need to buy a domain name and hosting?
A. If you have an existing domain name, that’s fine. If you don’t, we will register a domain for you.
Q. How much will my website cost?
A. The cost of a website varies, depending upon the type of site you require. Each site is treated separately and on the individual elements required.
Q. What do I get for my money?
A. All designs are created and conceived in accordance with your requirements. We don’t use ready made templates, all our sites are designed from scratch.

Q. What happens when I complete your quotation form?
A. If you are making an enquiry about a possible site you would like created, please provide a brief outline of your requirements. We will then mail you back promptly with an idea of price/timescale and any suggestions with regard to your project. You are not obliged to use our services at any stage during this process. Q. Do I need to send a deposit for the work?
A. Occasionally, we request a small deposit before the project begins. This is by arrangement. The balance of payment is then due on completion of the project, prior to uploading the files to the live site.
Q. What is ftp?
A. FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is a method of transferring files to your web server. When a hosting package is created ‘FTP details’, consisting of the host name, User ID and password are created by us. Upon completion of the website and receipt of payment for any work carried out, we then send these details to the client.
Q. How do I get listed in Google?
A. On completion we create a site map and submit the website to Google.
Q. What is optimisation?
A. This will enable your site to gain higher organic search engine ranking. A web page that isn’t optimised won’t be ranked high by Google and other search engines.
